PRESENTATION TO MR KINSELLA

(BY TELEGRAPH —PRFSS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, Last Night. This staff of tho dairy division of the Department of Agriculture have presented Mr Kinsella, the retiring Dairy Commissioner, with a gold watch. Mr Kinsella, replying, said he was leaving the colony simply because he was unable to carry out the work on the lines he intended to when he took charge of the Depurtment. In his opinion he had not received tho support from the Govern ment which he considered he was enti led to Other countries were combining in making scientific investigations combined with practical work. It was necessary for this colony to fall into line in this respect So far as he could see it was not much further ahead in this direction toMlay, then when first a Canadian expert was brought to the country, owing, its he had stated, to the insufiic cut support received from the Government. The Chamber of Commerce also presented Mr Kinsella wich a pair of field glasses and uu illuminated address.
