(BY TELEGRAPH—PKESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, This Day. The trial oF John Hamilton, charged with wilfully setting fire to a house at Newmarket on 17th March last, was continued in the Supreme Court yesterday, Mr Tole prosecuted, and the accused, who pleaded not guilty, was defended by Mr Martin. After hearing the evidence, the jury retired for an hour and u-half and then brought in a verdict of not guilty.
