OTAGO CENTRAL RAILWAY.
Tim Otago Central Nailway League on Monday curried a motion,' That the chairman communicate with Mr Geo. Fowlds, M.H.K., regretting that, because of insufficient opportunities for acquiring information about the district served by the Otago Central railway during his recent vis-it, he should have arrived at conclusions not in accordance facts known to members of the league, and that he be invited to again inspect the lino aa the guest of the league, so that ho may be placed in possession of this information.' It was resolved to wire to the Premier that the progress being made with the line was disappointingly »low, and to strongly urge greater diligeuce in the prosecution of the work. It was mentioned that a cumber of C'unttrbury members would probably visit the line, and Mr Miller, M.H.R. fuggeaterl that the Oiago members shculd visit the Midland railway.
