ELECTORAL ROLL

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—Will you kindly insert the following. I uni not u man fond of rushiug into print, but I think I am justified in giving publicity to my grievance. A short time since I received a notice informing me that my name has been struck off the roll in consiquence of not having voted on the 25th cf November, 1902. I did vote at the said election. My wife and I entered Te Awamuln Courthouse at the same time, and, I may say, voted simultaneously. How is it that they have not struck her name off. I suppose they consider ooe out of a family enough. In conclusion I may add with the strictest truth that I have not failed to record my vote at the general election for seventeen years.—l am, etc., Ciiaklks Basil Matthews. Mangapiko, February G, 1903.
