NGARUAWAHIA REGATTA.

At the close of the annual meeting of the Rowing Club, the annual meeting of those interested in the Ngaruawahia Regatta was held. Mr T. W. Davies occupied the chair. The Treasurer (Mr Wells) read the balance - sheet for the year, which showed, a satisfactory credit lialauce. The balance-sheet was passed as read. The meeting then appointed officers and committee for the forthcoming year, which are as follows : President, Mr F. YV. Lang, M.H.R. ; vice-Presidents, Messrs E. Simiiicllng, T. W. Davies, R. Rathbome, E. Fitzpatrick, J. Smith, T. Paterson, P. Guthrie and S. Wilson; Secretary, M. N. Skelton; Treasurer, F. W. Hunt ; Auckland representatives, Messrs T. U. Wells and A. A. Davied ; Committee, Messrs E. Rathbome, Burr, Hall, Nicholson, Wyman, W. Hunt, Cavanagh, Morris, R. James. T. Davis, Marshall. Skelton, Snelling, Hanlon, G. Roper, St. Clair, H. Mackenzie, W. Paterson, Nicol, Lynch, A. J. Simtnelhac, O'Learv, H. Booth, McKeown, F. Hunt, T. U. Wells and F. Warren ; Executive Committee, Messrs E. Rathborne, Burr, Cavanagh, Morris, Hunt, Hanlon, Marshall, W. Paterson, Lynch, W. St. Clair, H. Mackenzie and G. Roper. On the motion of Mr Hanlon, a hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Mr T. U. Wells, the retiring Secretary, for the valuable services rendered by him during the past year.—(Own Correspondent).
