THE PROPOSED CONFERENCE GERMANY & ITALY ACCEPT INVITATIONS. preparation <7 NEEDED. BERLIN, July 31. The Foreign Minister, Count von Neurath, informed the English and French Ambassadors and the Belgian Minister that Germany has accepted the Loearno Powers’ invitation for a Five-Power Conference. He emphasised the need for careful diplomatie preparation, especially regarding the programme. ITALY’S REPLY. ACCEPTANCE IN PRINCIPLE. ROME, July 31. The Minister of Foreign Affaire, Count Ciano, informed the French Ambassador and the English and Belgian Charges d ’Affaires that Italy will be glad in principle to participate in the Locarno Powers’ Conference.
