EVENTS AT GISBORNE. BURDLES TO GOOD BUNTING. GISBORNE, July 25. The concluding day of the Poverty Bay Turf Club was held in good weather. There was a large atendance and the going was good. The totalisator handled £6,003 10s as compared with £4,167 10s on the corresponding day last year. The total for the meeting was £9,960 against £7.345 10s last year. Results:— Gisborne Burdles, Ifm.: 1, Good Bnuting (Fergus), 1; 3, Emotion, 2; 2, Summerhill, 3. The only starters. Two lengths; one and half lengths. Time: 3min. 21 4-ssecs.
