WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION TOURNAMENT. FINALS TO BE PLAYED TO-NIGHT. Good progress was made last night in the Wairarapa Badminton Association’s annual tournament. The tourney will be concluded to-night, when the finals will be ployed at the Drill Hall, starting at 7 o’clock. Following are the results of last night’s games:— Men’s championship singles: Logan beat Greenwood, 15/4, 15/2; Playton beat Lulham, 8/15, 15/9, 15/5. Men’s championship doubles: Hawksworth and Logan beat Beveridge and Martin, 15/2, 15/1; Simpson and Grant beat Massey and Henderson, 15/3, 15/0; Lulham and Payton beat Jones and Wenham, 15/1, 15/8; O’Connor and Hodder beat Orr and Forsyth, 15/4, 15/5; Hawksworth and Logan beat Simpson and Grant, 15/5, 15/4.
