SALE OF FRIESIANS.
The attention of both Friesian Breeders and Dairymen is drawn to an advertisement in this issue of an important unreserved sale of pedigree Friesian cattle to take place on Major R. A. Wilson’s property, Turakina, on Tuesday, July 28, the vendors being Major R. A. Wilson and Mr. W. J. Polson, when some 65 head of in-calf Friesian cows and heifers and 11 Friesian bulls will be offered. Both these herds have been built up on very sound lines with strong butterfat backing and |he catalogue will furnish an excellent opportunity to those interested in the “Black and Whites" to strengthen and improve their herds. The sale will be unreserved with the exception of a slight reserve on a few of the bulls, and catalogues are now available and can be had on application to either of the joint auctioneers, Messrs Freemen, R. Jackson and Co., Ltd., Wanganui or Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North and all branches.
