MOTOR VEHICLES MEASURE PASSED. DEBATE ON FINANCE BILL TO-DAY. (By Telegraph—“ The Age” Special.) WELLINGTON, July 22. The Motor Vehicles Amendment Bill and the Regulations Bill, two Government measures which were on the Order Paper when the House adjourned on June 11, were put through all their remaining stages and passed in the House of Representatives to-night and the adjournment was taken at ten o’clock. The Finance Bill, which provides for the restoration of wages and salaries to the 1931 level, will be debated on the second reading on Thursday (to-day).
