CYCLING TOUR.

YOUNG NEW ZEALANDER IN AUSTRALIA. TWENTY THOUSAND MILES ALREADY COVERED. (Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m.) |r SYDNEY, May 31. A young New Zealander, Ray Dixon, arrived in Sydney by push bicycle yesterday from Melbourne. Dixon has already toured Western Australia and is now making for Queensland. He has hitherto travelled about 20,000 miles on cycle. During his travels he has delivered lecturettes on New Zealand. When mounted, the carrier load is 243 lbs., including a wireless set weighing 63 pounds. Despite the load he can average about sixty miles daily, h'is record for one day being 127 miles.
