EKETAHUNA SALE
N.Z. LOAN & MERCANTILE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—At our weekly Eketahuna sale on Thursday we offered a full yarding comprising 2700 sheep, of all classes and a fair entry of cattle. The offering attracted a large attendance from local, Manawatu and Wairarapa districts. Keen bidding resulted for all pens and competition was strong to the finish of the sale. Cattle and pigs sold well at late rates. We quote:— Sheep: A/e F. and H. C. Percy, 2tooth wethers, 25/2; 4-year ewes, r.w.
