DOGS ON PARADE.
WAIRARAPA KENNEL CLUB FIXTURE. _ MANY OUTSIDE COMPETITORS. The ribbon parade held .by the Wairarapa Kennel Club on Saturday, in spite of the unfavourable weather was quite a success. As the conditions outdoors were impossible the parade was held in the Sample Rooms. There was a good attendance of the public and among the competitiors was a party of 38 from Wellington. The judges were: Messrs J. F. Thurston (Alsatians), O. G. Ellis (Terriers), G. F. Birkett (sporting dogs except Greyhounds and Whippets), E. Brown (all other breeds). The visitors were entertained by members at tea and later at 1 an enjoyable dance held in the Masonic Hall.
