Continue creaming, stir in three-quarters cup milk. Sift and add two eups flour, four teaspoons baking powder. Fold in stiffly beaten whites of two eggs and one teaspoon Stevens’ “Cathedral Brand” Essence. Bake moderately in square pan. Then make layer with two eups sugar, half cup milk, one cup raisins, half cup chopped dates and one cup chopped nuts. Cook sugar and milk first) add ingredients and beat. j
