WOMEN’S INSTITUTE.

MEETING AT OPAKI.

The monthly meeting of the Opaki Women’s Institute was held at Mrs. Wingate's residence on Thursday. Mrs Carter and her daughter, of Carrington, demonstrated the making of wool quilts, a finished quilt evoking much praise. The membership of the Institute has increased considerably since the first meeting, members attending from both town and country.
