DENSE FOG ROUND BRITAIN. TWO VESSELS ASHORE. RUGBY, May 2. Although moat of Britain is experiencing a spell of sunshine after the welcome rains which have diminished, the water shortage anxieties, fog is being experienced reund the coasts. The Dutch motor vessel Westlaaffi went ashore in a dense fog at s Portland Bill during the night and members of the crew, with the wife and two children of the captain, were brought ashore by breeches buoy. The Westlaan was refloated this morning. The three-masted schooner Mary Miller is also ashore in thick fog off Dungeness Point. Sheds in no danger, unless the wind freshens from the south, and it is hoped, to refloat her during the day. Meanwhile two lifeboats and the Dunegeness life-saving crew are standing by.—(British Official Wireless.)'
