FIND IN INDIAN RUINS. SUDDEN WEALTH CAUSES ‘ SUSPICION. (Received Thursday, 7.10 p.m.) CALCUTTA, May 2. A poor woman digging in ruins near Mominabad, an ancient military encampment, found a brass vessel filled with gold coins, valued at nearly £4,000. She and her husband melted the gold into bars. The sudden accession of wealth aroused suspicions and the police arrested them. It is alleged that they gave some officials hush money and the latter have been suspended pending investigation.
