Masterton: Miss R. . Robinson report?ed as follows for the 245-’hours- ended. 9 a.m., yesterday:—Barograph, 30:58; shade temperature, maximum, 74.2; minimum, 36.5; 31.8; sunshine, 9 hours 30 minutes. The (government Meteorologist (Dr. E. Kidson) reported at 4 p.m. yesterday:—There is little change in the meteorological situation. An anticyclone still covers New Zealand' and extends far to the eastward, while a shallow depression lies along the East Coast of Australia. Forecast: Winds, moderate to fresh north-easterly to northerly prevailing; southerly at first in parts of the Cook Strait area. Weather: Fair to fine, mild in most districts. Cloud gradually increasing generally, and mist or fog likely on parts of the East Coast. Later some scattered? drizzling rain probable. Sun rises, 6.39 Am.; sets, 5.6 p.m. Lighting-up 6.36 p.m.
