MB. J. BRADBURY ANNOUNCED AS A CANDIDATE. t NOMINATIONS CLOSE TO-DAY. A further nomination was received yesterday for the vacancy on the Masterton. Trust Lands Trust, caused by the resignation of Mr. G. Selby, that of Mr. J. Bradbury, who was nominated by Messrs. E. M. Hodder and W. S. L. Dickson. This makes two candidates in the field, Mr. J. MacFarlane Laing having already been nominated. It is also reported that Mr. E. Selby, a brother of Mr. G. Selby, intends to contest the seat. Nominations close at noon to-day with the secretary of the Trust, Mr. W. B. Yates. The poll will be taken on September 6.
