VICTORIA’S GOLD.
INCREASE IN YIELD. (Received Friday, 9.55 p.ni.) MELBOURNE, April 7. Victoria’s gold yield increased from 24,119 ounces fine in 1930 to 43,638 ounces fine in 1932. The Mines Department provided equipment for 7,246 prospectors during last year. It is expected that the yield will be greatly increased during the current year.
