NEW TRADE TREATY.
AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND. RECIPROCAL ACTION. (Received Friday, 8.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, April 7. Advices received here indicate that the new trade treaty between Australia and New Zealand involves the removal of restrictions and embargoes here on some New Zealand products, chief of which is potatoes, in return for which Australia is to have the New Zealand market for dried and canned fruits and certain fresh fruits.
