FIRE IN FAMOUS DELHI BAZAAR. . BANK PREMISES DESTROYED. FIFTEEN SHOPS GUTTED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copy right (Received This Day, 1.5 a.m.) DELHI, June 4. The famous bazaar, the Chandui Chowk, was the scene of one of tho biggest blazes ever seen. In this bazaar are located most of the leading exchange banks. The offices are over shops. The fire began in a shop below the National Bank of India. Fifteen shops were gutted, white the National Bank of India premises were burned to ashes. The damage is estimated at over fifteen lakhs of rupees (£150,000). The cause is unknown.
