LOSS ON CANADIAN TOUR VISIT FROM AUSTRALIA WELLINGTON, April 4. The tour of the Canadian Soccer team in New Zealand resulted in a loss.: of £1415, according to tho balancesheet considered at a meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Football Association to-night. Concerning a proposed tour by an Australian team it was resolved that in tho opinion of tho committee tho estimates of .gate takings as represented to the Wellington Football Association were excessive and that the association was prepared to buy tho local matches and test for £250 and provincial match for £l5O. If thia cannot be agreed upon the association does not agree to a tour of Australians to take place this season.—(P.A.).
