ARRANGEMENTS FOB COMING TRIALS MANY TROPHIES FOR COMPETITION A meeting of the general committee of tho Masterton' Collie Club was held last evening. Mr J. M. James presided over a good attendance of members. Matters concerning the forthcoming trials, which are to be held on May 16, 17 and 18, were discussed, and the programme arranged. From enquiries already to hand, it was reported, tho trials will not be lacking in support, and promise to be a record in tho history of dog trials in Masterton. Many trophies were offered for competition, and to tho successful competitor tho forthcoming trials hold promise of many valuable prizes. The committee hope to make an inspection of the trial grounds on Saturday, April 21, when final detail,! will be arranged. Mr R. J. McDonald, of Dannovirke, has kindly consented to act as judge at the trials.
