EMPIRE SETTLEMENT DELEGATES.
The Wairarapa will entertain to-day a party of delegates who have been sent out by Hie Empire .SetHement League in Britain to investigate the conditions of immigration, and. par-t-ieulariy of soldier immigration, into the Dominions. This district may not have anything ts tell the delegates different irom what they have learned elsewhere in the Dominion. The experience of soldier settlement in the Wairarapa is quite as good as the average in New Zealand, and the opportunities here arc no less than elsewhere. What the ineeitng to-day can give the delegates, whether they aro labour, or women, or official members is rm assurance that the Wairarapa is anxious to give a warm welcome at all times to men and women of British race and of good character.
