WORLD’S RECORD FOR 15 MILES Feilding, March 11.—The Motor Club held very successful motor cycle races to-day, on. the racecourse. There was a big crowd, and the racing was exciting. Coleman covered 15 miles in 15.52 4-5, which is claimed to be a world’s record for a grass track; his fasest mile was 50 2-ssecs. Results :• — Novice Five Miles.—Radford (4-5) 1, Raine (50) 2, Nicol (125) 3. Time, 6.40. Sport® Handicap, eight miles. — Davy (105) 1, Gai&ford (110) 2, Coleman (scr) 3. Time 9.21 3-5. Classic Hndicap, six miles. —Gais ford (80) 1, Davy (65) 2, Jones (55) 3. Time 7.5 1-5. Feilding Handicap.—Coleman (scr) 1, H. Mangham (15) 2, Claringbold , (135) 3. Time 4-5. Oroua Handicap, six miles.—Gaisford (70) 1, Stratton (15) 2, Coleman (scr) 3. Time 7.33 2-5. Kowhai Handicap, ten miles.—Coleman (scr) 1, Davy (130) 2, H. Mangham (scr) 3. Time 12.43 3-5.—(P.A.)
