ALLEGED FORGERY.
MAN ARRESTED AT GLADSTONE
In tho Carterton Police Court on * Monday night a man named Frank Itawlingson, with several aliases, who had been arrested. by the Carterton police at Gladstone on Monday afternoon, on warrants charging him with a series of offences ,o£ forging and littering cheques, and obtaining goods by means of valueless cheques, at Greytown and Morison's Bush, theft at Wellington, and several charges of false pretences in the Otaki district, was brought before Mr. H. M. B. Trapp, J.P., and remanded to appear at Wellington on July 26. Constable Grcgar took the prisoner to Wellington on Tuosday.
