THE CABINET CRISIS.
[There is every indication that the British Cabinet crisis is at an end, and that Mr liloyd 'George will succeed in forming a Ministry that will enable the war to be prosecuted with greater detei\minat : ou than in the past. The Labour Party has offered its support to the new Government, on condition that a more extensive control is. exercised, over mining, shipping, and 'the land. Mr Lloyd G-eorge should find »o difficulty in complying "vvitli this condition. li a War Council is formed with unlimited powers, if will probably seek and obtain control of tlio wlirvle of the resources of England, Scotland and Wales. 'lt is hoped, also, that somo means may be discovered for .settling the Irish question and of 'bringing Ireland under the samo conditions as obtain in other parts of the "United Kingdom. The Empire is eagerly awaiting the development of a vigorous war policy.
