GIFTS RIEAiCH MESOPOTAMIA. Mr G'reg. Nicholas, secretary of tlie fund raised by the Post Office Elntertaiiiment Committee for the Wireless Oorys in Mesopotamia, has received the following letter, which is of general interest:— Margil Camp, Basra, Mes., October 21th, 1016. Just to let you see that the first consignment of goods, procured with funds raised by your committee, has arrived safely. The consignment is a good one, containing most things a soldier requires. The goods have been proportioned out to the men at our stations, which are now some considerable distance up the Tigris, and are ready to go forward to them As istyan las ,slpace is available oh ■board a transport river steamer. 'These are the first gifts received by our men since leaving iNt-w Zealand.
