MASTERTO-N* CLUB. /(By "Wrong Bias.") The Mastorton Club will not be represented by its full strength in the shields match Carterton, at Carterton, oil Saturday. The teams will be .as follows—Davis, Beale, Blinkhorn, 0. Pragnell (s) ; Thurston, Francis, Lawrence, C. Perry (s) • Prentice, Hosking, Harrison, Staples (s). In a champion singles match last evening Cesswell beat Dickens by a small margin. Those entered :n the singles and paiis competitions should remember that the first and second rounds close on Saturday next. Bntifies for the Dominion tournament fchould be made through the" local secretary before December 18th.
PARK CLUB. The following will represent the Park Club on Thursday against Eketahuna for the .Booth Webb Johnston, J. Bentley, Carr (skip) ; a! Cole, Henry, Staniforth,. Ralph (s). Three rinks will travel to Featherston on Saturday to play i n the shield matches. The teams are:—Mutne, Br-aggins, Noad, Southgate *(s); Swmerd, Bell, Wilton, Kilgour (s) : Price, Knowles, W. H. Cole. Ogden (s).
The McEwen Fern s (pairs) produced a hard game between Bell and Kilgour and Price and Ogden on Tuesday evening, the former by 6 points. Ogden started off wolf and got a good lead, but Kilgour warmed up, and at the eleventh head had drawn level, and just managed' from there on to keep a slight adf vantage. The game was finished iW the twilight and proved very interA esting. Several challenges are allcady in, the first being Mutrie and Noad, and the holders are prepared to play any evening. 1
