PAHIATUA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and "Williams Ltd., Pahiatiua Branch, report on their Pahiatua stock sale held oil Tuesday last: Wo had a full yarding of cattle and a limited one of sheep. Sales were not of a very keen order owing "to vendors having been led by tho high prieos obtained at recent sales and having put prohibitive reserves on their cattle. Sales were effected as follows: —Mixed sex hoggets 13s 5(1; good conditioned 2th owes and wethers, 18s 3d; medium springing heifers, from £4. to £5 7s 6(1; yearling heifers, £2 13s to £2 1.8s; 11 heifers, £3 2s; 12 empty heifers and cows, £3 19s 6d; fat cow a, £ll ; medium empty eo.ws, £3 12s (kl to £3 2s; good conditioned empty cows, £6 7s Gd to £(5 15s ; 13 three and four year tjullocks, £!) 10s; 8 steers, £3 7s; hulls, £4 2s Gd, £5 10s, £B, £8 Bs, £9 to IS-J gns.
