THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. "THE MASTER KEY." Tho old say i no-, "The magnet which draws trade is quality" was again emphasised at the Cinema last evening, when a very large and appreciative audience assembled. "The Master Key'' was again well to-tho fore with its passages of most exciting nature, which held the onlooker spell-bound through-out the entire telling. The Lubin drama "Life- , line" (2000 feet), featuring Arth'ir Johnston the popular player was well received and patrons are advised not to miss this drama. Another dramatic study is found in the beautiful production entitled Haunting Memories. The "Topical Budget" gives a very liberal supply of the news of Europe, including scenes direct from the firing line together with the arrival of 400 prisoners of war in London after spending many months under harsh treatment in Germany. The return of Ford Sterling in the "Dare Devil Chief" was received with a round of applause. The screaming subjects are well .up to the standard and will l>e screened for The last time to-night. To-morrow afternoon the usual Matinee will take place when the Xo. 10 instalment of the Master Key will be shown.. PEOPLE'S POPULAR PICTURES.
