SEVERELY CRITICISED. (Received Last Night, 9.10 o'clock.) LONDON", Nov. i. The "Daily Chronicle" defends Mr Asquith from tho attacks of Lord Northcliff's press. It refers to them as hysterical cavillers and unprincipled fault-finders. It adds: "Inconsistency pervades the whole glib talk of blunders and miscalculations whicn arc the staple of tho Northcliff press and the pack of disappointed minor politicians, Lords Milner. Borcsford, and others, who yelp id chorus, at their heels."
