MR. HO.LMAN'S STATEMK.s ... SYDNEY, Tuoscuk In the Assembly, Mr Molman, m delivering the Budget, said that the actual revenue for the past year was £18,928,000. The estimated reverjuo for the curent year was £19,098,000, and the expenditure £lB,828,083. He proposed to .'epay £235,000 to tho Public Works Account, leaving a. net surplus of £34,967. No new general taxation was proposed, but bookmakers and race tickets would be taxed to the extent of £5,000. There would he a motor tax, and a super tax on incomes would be re-imposed, yielding £358,000. Last year £11,040,000 was added to the public debt, making a total of £127,735,000.
