Saturday night again miw the over popular Klectric Picture Theatre puc'von to its utmost capacity with an enthusiastic audicuce. who showed then marked appreciation of the excellent -bill-r.i'-faro provided, with numerous rounds of hearty applm-v. (J:lies ('ompaiiv heads the list wth a fascinating theatrical story, entitled "Two .Actresses." fi this we see many phase/* of lite, hotli on and ofl the stage., witti all its trials and temptations. Jhe plot deals with an actress and an old-time etar, who attempts to wreak her vengeance on her rival, who is the idol of the hoards. Jealousy and hate prompts her to scheme with nil the cunning of a -fiend, many diabolical plots to bring her rival down from the pinnacle of fame she has attained. Ii liable to carry out her work successfully, she s exposed. The humiliation intended for her rival falling to her lot, again revealing the old, old story, in which love conquerors hate. Comedy reigns supreme. "Friendly Neighbours" topping the hill, .lodging by the uproar of laughter that accompanied this lengthly smile-pro-ducer, again proves the reputation it holds as the king of laughteiy eclipsing all previous comedies ever presented to any Mastertou audience. The late.st work by the Keystone Company, in which the whole is enacted by clever children, is another side-splitting episode "Just Tvds." The dramatic section is powerful in the extreme. "A Wayward Bister," by Rex, a dramatic' story full of pathetic and" gripping situations. "Romance of the Ozarks." a Western photo-play depicting rough dealings in North America, and "Tile Threads of .Destiny," portraying the life of the poor class of Paris. The latest • Kelair Journal is "as usual full of its .newsy jottings. These, together with our old merry friends "Dupin" and "Bloomer," constitutes a programme Of the highest order. Picture lovers in search of a capital night's entertainment would do well to pay a visit to this popular picture resort.
