WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION'S
MEETING.
CHAMPIONSHIP WON BY OPAKI MAN.
(By Our Special Reporter.) The animal rifle .meeting of the Wairarapa Rifle Association was concluded at Papawai yesterday. The weather was showery, and the conditions generally were unfavourable. Some good shooting was, nevertheless, recorded. TheOpaki representatives, as*uiaual, secured the bulk of the prize money. The Midfield and Championship Aggregates were both annexed by W. McLeay, of the Opaki Club, who shot with great consistency throughout. The teams went to the unbeaten Opaki No. 1 team, with the same club's No. 2 team in second place, just two points away.
