RIFLE SHOOTING.

MASTERTON MINIATURE CLUB

The Masterton Miniature Rifle Club opened its season last evening with a successful practice, in which twentytwo members took part. Owing to the high scoring last year the size of the "bulls-eye" has been reduced to a half inch, consequently the scores, although very creditable, were not as high as previously. The Olub has a large number of new members, and everything points to a succfcfcful season. The Club's shooting mights are Tuesday and Thursday.

The following were the best scores: R. J. Smith 34, W. Rosson 33, A. Miller 33, E. Lett 33, J. Murray &3, R. E. Jones 32, J. McGregor 31, J. Cullotty 30, O. Perry, 30.
