SUPPOSED CASE OF DROWNING.
By Telegraph—Press Association. NAPIER, March 1. An elderly man stripped and entered the sea on the town beach at about 7 o'clock this evening, and is believed to have been drowned. His clothing is marked with the name of Spence. It is thought that the man was a resident of Hastings, but the body has not yet been recovered.
