NATAL.

A DISQUIETING STATEMENT. Received December 28, 9.36 p.m. CAPETOWN, December 2*B. Daniel, Dinizulu's late secretary, has informed Sir Henry McCallum, Governor of Natal, that Dinizulu is implicated in a rebellion instigated in connection with Stainbank's murder. Dinizulu is at Nonogawa, where further investigations are likely. A disquieting feature of the situation is the recent frequent thefts of rifles from settlers' houses in Zululand.
