MISS MARIE NARELLE.
Miss Marie Narelle, who will give a concert in the Masierton Town Hall, to-morrow night, is having a most sucessfnl tour of the South Island, receiving great praise from the press for her artistin singing, especially of those Irish ballads which have made her name famous throughout the world. Mr Chester PeDtress, the tenor of the company, has also made a highly favourable impression. He is said to ,be the possessor of a highly onltivafced voice which he uses with fine arfcis tio effect. Having received his mueioßl tiaining in Paris, ho sings Prenoh songs as well as English, also joining Miss.Narelle in such favourite dusts as "La Sereuata," by Tosti, "O That we Two Were Maying," by Ne?in, "Venetian Boat Sonß," by Tosti, and "L'Addio," by Nioolai. Miss Con stance Brandon Usher, who acts as accompanist, is a graduate of the Llepzig Oonseivatoriutr:, aud is said to be a very brilliant soloist. The | box plan is open at "The Talkeries."
