MACMAHON DRAMATIC COMPANY.
An unusually, attractive dramatic fixture is announced for Monday evening next, when the Messrs Mao. mabon will bring to Masterton their new and ..powerful Dramatic Company consisting of twenty eight members. The success of the combination, which has been speoially brought together for an extended tour of the oolony, has been of a quite phenomenal character, the brilliant seasons of 25 oonseoutive nights at His Majesty's Theatre, Auckland, 24 nights at the Theatre Royal, Ohrißtohtirob, and more, recently at the Opera House, Wellington, having 'established records for drama in those cities. The piece selected for the advent of the company to Masterton, at the Town Hall on Monday eveuing next, is the worldfamous story of the depredations of the notorious Australian bushrangers, "The Kelly Gang," who for upwards of four years baffled the whole police force an 3 terrorised the people of two great States, viz., Victoria and New South Wales, and Sfor whose capture, dead or alive, a colossal reward was offered. "The Kelly Gang" has proved a remarkable theatrical attraction to the whole of New Zealand playgoers, and its performance here seems destined to attract all sections of local playgoers. The original and .-authentic stage pictures, redolent •of the weird grandeur of the vast Australian * bust?, will be a feature •of a performance which will probably eclipse anything of the kind as yet presented locally. The eight horses and coach used in the prj.duction will be supplied by Mr T. Clancy, of the Empire Stables. The box plan will open to-morrow tmorning at Miss Rive's. It is announced that popular prices of admission will obtain, viz., 3s, 2s, .and Is.
