LONDON, October 12

The Queensland Agent-General spent his vaoation unofficially investigating the habits of the agricultural classes in Germany, Denmark, and Finland, with a view of forming an opinion as to their suitableness as settlers in Queensland. He considers that the peasants of the three countries, especially those in Finland, would supply exoellent emigrants, but they need assistance in the matter of passages.
