MUSICAL EXAMINATIONS
Following are the results of tfco examiaations in practical mußio, held by Mr 0. Edwards, L.T.0.L., on Friday and Saturday, afc the Foresters' Hail, Masterton (60 marks and over qualifying for a pasaand 80 and over for honours):— Senior Pass—Ethel F. Daniell, 66 (Mr A. von Keisenberg). Intermediate Honours Mina T. Dumbleton, 82 (Mr A. von Keisenberg). Intermediate Pass—Winifred S, Feist, 73; Ruby M. JReid, 71; Kuch N. Graham, 68 (Miss Hampton); Gladys N. Buttle, 60 (Mr A. von Keiaenberg). Junior Pasa—Adella B. 74, and Gladys M. Church, 73 (Miss Church); Clara K. Quaint,roll, 66 (Miss Hampton); Janet Wilier, 63 (Mra J. D. Smith); Gwendoline Raweon, 66 (Miss Talbol). Preparatory Division—Eric Tooby, 76 (Mr A. von Keisenborg); Marjorie Palmer, 75 (Miss Talbot); Marie Lightfoot, 74 (Miss Livingatone); Muriel Fen wick, 72; Elaa Hirsohberg 72, Kathleen O. Roes, 71 Leopold, E. von Keisenberg, 70 (Mr A. von Keisenberg); Beaaie Moncrieff, 69 (Miss Livingstone); Esmee Waddington, 68 (Miss Wadidington); Myrtle Toxward, C 4 (Miss Livingstone). An examination was also held at St. Bride' 3 Convent by Mr Edwards. In the junior Rrade Miss Doris Cameron, who is only eight years of age, secured the highest number of marks, namely, 89. Mias Mary O'Neill, who is nine years old, secured eeoond place with 86 marks. These two pupils are deserving of a special word of praise. The following is a list of pasaes Preparatory Grade—Violin: Stanley Hoar, t>s; Leonard Crese, 60. Pianoforte: Gladys Murray, 79. Junior Grade—Pianoforte: Doris Catreron, 89 (honours); Mary O'Neillj 86 (honours); May Boustead, 83 (honours); Jessie Milne, 77; Edie Pinhey, 75. Intermediate Grade—Mary Grengor, 60. Senior Grade—Muriel Grey, 73.
