cheese factory to bs STARTED AT MARTUNBOROUGH.
A meeting of farmers and others interested in starting a cheese faotory was held at Martinborough on 'Friday evening. After considerable discussion it was resolved, on the motion of Mr Parker, seconded by Mr Eeid, that a company bo formed, to be called the Martiuborongh Uo-uperative Dairy Company, Ltd., and that a cheese factory be started in Martinborough. It was resolved to fix the'capital at £1,200. The following wore eleoted provisional directors:—Messrs Parker, Daysh, Reid, Wall, Smith, Benton and Evans. Mt F. McAllum was appointed secretary pro tein.
