A Dunedin gentleman some abort time ago reeeivpd the offer of a purchase of some twenty shares in a newly-floated diamond mining concern in South Africa, says the Otago Daily Times. The price at which the shares were offered was £SO eaoh, and without a great deal of trouble they were placed among various acquaintances in Dunedin at that figure.
