Received July 10, 9.30 a.m. NEW YORK, July 9. Mr Lyman Ueorge, formerly Secretary of the Uuj<;ed States Treasury, has abandoned the Presidency of the United States Trust Company of New York, and a salary of £IO,OOO sterling, in order to join the Thoosophists in California.
