ST PATRICK'S CONCERT.
The concert to be given by the St Patrick's Day Sports Association in the Town Hall on Monday evening promises to be a success in every way. A number of well-known aingers have been engaged, including Miss Lilian Irvine. Of this artist the Evening Post says:—"At the Irish National Concert in the Wellington Town Hall the 'star' of the evening was Miss Lilian Irvine, a young aoprano, who gave 'Kathleen Mavourneen,' and 'Barney O'Hea,' with a sweetness that at onoe made here a warm fav oolite. For one of her two encore numbers, •Good-bye, Summer,' she honestly won the heartiest applause of the night, and gave still further promise of fulfilling her admirers' expecta tions." Among the other singers who will contribute items at the concert are Misses O'Malley, O'Brien, M. Cameron, Messrs R. Duff, Harry Hall, F. Crewes, D. Walsh and F. Haugheyi Mr R. Mcßae will danoe the Irish Jig and Sailors' Hornpipe. Seata in the dress oirole may be reserved at Misa A. E. Rive's.
