FINANCIAL POSITION. DEPORTATION OF UNDESIRABLE IMMIGRANTS. Reoeived May ,24, 12.4 a.m. OTTAWA, May 23. Tbe Canadian finances for the expired portion of the year shows a surplus of £1,572,000. The Hon. W. S. Fielding, Minister of Finance, anticipate? that the current year will end with a surplus of £2,500,000. A revised tariff will be submitted next session. The Dominion House, of Representatives is considering a Bill insuring more stringent restrictions in connection with the deportation of undesirable immigrants. ■" ' . >■
