The Danger of Rupture. Many flatter themselves that they are out of danger because they have been ruptured many years without being greatly alarmed with unpleasant and dangerous sensations ; and, to prove that they are not, many i man of 60 years of age has fallen a victim to his rupture .aftti having it for 30 years ; and, I might say, a thousand others of every agt, yrade, and station of life, hurried from the world without any othei ailment than that induced by a neglected or badly -treated hernia. This all happens from the multitude starting with a fatal mistake that rupture is not dangerous. The fact is there is no affliction that requires as much care to ward off" its evil consequences. THE FOLLY OF TRUSSES ! The fallacy of the old system of attempting the cure of rupture by means of trusses was first pointed out by Dr J. A. Sherman, whose wonderful cures by his special remedies and patent inventions have alike astonished Medical Colleges and brought joy, health, and strength to suffering numbers, who, after years of unavailing treatment from profes- ' sional experts, abandoned all hope of ever regaining physical soundness. THE ONLY POSITIVE CURE IS DR SHERMAN'S. This great method has stood the test for half a century. It has restored thousands to the blessings of a sound body. It has entirely upset the foolish theory of the "faculty-" that there is no cure except by operation. It has cured cases of 50 years' standing. The method gives relief in one minute, and no patient is detained from his work, neither is there any restrictions as to diet or exercise. If you are a sufferer, get to Dr Sherman's Remedies, and then you know that you are under the best treatment the world has ever produced. Avoid quack treatments, as they only increase the trouble. MR A. W. MARTIN, Sole Controller of the SHERMAN TREATMENT in Australasia, Is now in Dunedin, and may be Consulted at 14 HIGH-STREET, DUNEDIN. CONSULTATIONS FREE.
