OTAGO LAND BOARD.

At the ordinary meeting of the above Board on Tuesday, the following local business was transacted :—: —

Alfred Crooke, on behalf of F. W. Knight, applied for a grazing license over about eight acres, part of the mining reserve, Waipori. — Referred to Waipori Commonage Trustees. An application by G. E. Cross for a grazing license over section 49, block 6, Rankleburn district, was left in hands of Chairman.

Ranger O'Neill forwarded valuation of improvements on the area of two acres at Evans Flat which R. Cotton desired to purchase, and also suggested the upset price. — Report approved ; value £3 per acre, valuation of improvements £30 10s. An application for transfer of grazing license over block 29, Dunkeld township, from Andrew Donaldson to George Donaldson, was granted. Goldsmith Bros, applied for the right to cut firewood on bush reserve, block 8, Tuapeka West district. — Granted, subject to arrangement with D. Barclay, who now holds a license over the land referred to.
